Last month we asked you to share with us your favorite wellness tip!  Your responses were entered into a drawing for a complimentary 80-minute massage at River North Massage Therapy Center.

"I make it a goal to set aside an hour each day for something creative, such as music or painting, to relax and enjoy myself!
Small changes can really add up and lead to big results!
Prioritizing movement throughout the day, setting boundaries at work, practicing deep breathing, connecting with people you love, and eating healthy, whole foods"
 
"1. Hot epsom salt bath with lit candles
2. Dancing around the kitchen or living room playing a classic rock playlist not caring who sees
3. Yoga
4. Journaling
5. Meditation

"Stay positive and take breaks when you need to!"

"My favorite tip is to make wellness a priority. To help keep yourself on track, set wellness goals and schedule activities that led to your goals. This can be as simple as scheduling a short walk during your lunch hour, schedule extra time to walk for an errand instead of driving, schedule activities that make you feel good like volunteering, and schedule time for a massage, facial or counseling and schedule time to reconnect with nature."

"- Pick a tv show that you love and only allow yourself to watch it while on the treadmill/elliptical/bike
- Use the elevator ride to your destination as a time to put your phone away and unplug"

"Preplan your snacks into (portion and snack type i.e. dried fruit, nuts etc.).  Also going on Tiktok for a while as a break may seem juvenile but it works for a good laugh as long as you set a timer!"

"When even the simple things are too overwhelming, breathe. When my friends are stressed, overworked, and thinking of everything else but themselves, they can't argue with taking one literal minute of their day to do breathwork. It's "grounding, it's calming, and it taps into our mind-body connection. Just breathe.

"Walking 5 plus miles a day, swimming yoga, biking, no meat, only healthy food, meditation, journaling and massage!"

"To  stretch  every morning ! Yoga is great for the mind and body + a great way to start your day . "
