What is Student Clinic?
River North Massage manages the student teaching clinic of The New School for Massage in Chicago and Tinley Park.
The "student teaching clinic" offers massage treatments performed by students of The New School for Massage, under the supervision of an instructor. At a minimum, student therapists will be able to provide a Swedish (relaxation) massage. Depending on their level of training at the time of your appointment, they may also have the skills to perform condition-specific work; however, we cannot guarantee this as appointments are randomly assigned to students at the beginning of their shift.
If you have requests for a specific therapist, gender, conditions to be addressed, or a specific bodywork modality, we recommend booking with a professional therapist.
